Yahtzee Board Game Rules

WOW, that’s some crazy title right there. I have never heard that word before so it really grabbed my attention – I think it sounds cool – actually it can sound many ways as probably everybody pronounces it differently 🙂 This game is also known as Yatzie in some circles, I just thought I’d let you know so that you don’t get surprised. Under this name it was actually played already in the 40s of the 20th century. Ok, now I actually think that I understand why the founders of this game decided to give it such a name. There’s a story that it was actually invented buy a couple who we just bored on their yacht and created a simple game – the principle is basically just throwing 5 dices and expecting different combination, depending on the current round. Get it? So the name most probably comes from the word yacht. I think that it’s more than clear although I haven’t really read this reasoning exactly like this. But, really I think it’s just a common sense – At lease I know that I would name it very similarly if I were them.
