Dog, Cat and Rabbit Weight Puzzle
Here I’m bringing you a pretty different puzzle that you’ve been already accustomed if you regularly visit this website. While so far it’s been mostly the typical IQ test type questions, I decided to add some colors to it and change the style a little bit. This one might be more complex for most of you as it reminds a typical math equation from the primary school. As you can probably remember, we had a pretty simple math solution for this and if you remember that process it should be a no-brainer. In fact, I think that primary class students might be faster to solve this puzzle than adults as it’s just something they are doing at school on daily basis. So here it goes:
If a dog weighs twice as much as a cat, and a cat is three times heavier than a rabbit, then which of the following statements is true?
A) The dog is four times heavier than the rabbit. B) The rabbit is one-third the weight of the cat. C) The dog is six times heavier than the cat. D) The cat is half the weight of the dog.
Select the correct statement (A, B, C, or D) that represents the relative weights of the dog, cat, and rabbit based on the given information.
